Missions
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Missions are central to the history and the life of Grove Park Church. We believe that it is the duty and the privilege of every Christian to share Jesus with people in your life and people around the world. We use a variety of strategies, striving to be all things to all people, that by all means we we might save some (1 Corinthians 9:22).
One method we use to share Jesus is our Alternative Christmas Market. Through this emphasis we seek to take Christmas back from the commercialism through which the world views our holiday. We encourage our members to replace one gift to a friend or family member with a donation to a Christian ministry, in order to spread the Good News of Jesus around the world.
