Grove Park Church is a congregation of baptized believers in Jesus Christ, united by the Holy Spirit for the worship of and service to Almighty God. We believe there is but one God who eternally exists as three distinct persons. God the Father is the creator of Heaven and Earth. Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of God who delivers us from sin and its power by grace through faith alone in Jesus’ death and resurrection. The Holy Spirit guides us in our understanding of the Scriptures, through which God is revealed, empowers us to service in God’s Kingdom, and works in our lives to conform us to the image of God. We believe that believers should signify their commitment to be disciples of Jesus by being water baptized by immersion. We believe that salvation through Jesus results in changed lives and that one day everyone will be resurrected and judged for their actions.
