Sustainable Alamance
Sustainable Alamance is a faith based program that seeks to address the holistic needs of those who are at various stages of interaction with the criminal justice system. Sustainable Alamance serves as Alamance County’s official re-entry program for those exiting the penal system. They serve as a clearinghouse for those seeking employment assistance and mental health treatment all while seeking to ensure that participants remain in a physically, emotionally, and spiritually secure space that enables them to have a successful and abundant post-incarceration life. Less than 10% of those who participate in Sustainable Alamance reenter the penal system.
